This week’s seminar is Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor/Red Zone: What is happening/What is planned?
Presented by Chrissie Williams, Chair of Te Tira Kāhikuhuku – the Christchurch Red Zones Transformative Land Use Consultative Group.
Current plans of the red zone – what is happening, who is making decisions and much more.
Cycleways projects to be covered:
- Te Ara Ōtākaro Avon River Trail – existing, history, and route.
- City to Sea path – proposed recreational route along the Ōtākaro.
- The MCR – Avon-Ōtākaro route – planned for 2024 to 2027.
