The Council has approved the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.
Lyttelton Farmers Market 2022 - 2023
Road to be closed:
- London Street, between Canterbury Street and Oxford Street
Periods of Closures:
- From 7.30am to 2pm every Saturday from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023
Riccarton Community Street Party
Road to be closed:
- Elizabeth Street, between Division Street and 40 Elizabeth Street
Period of Closure:
- From 8.30am to 3pm Sunday, 6 November 2022
Lincoln University Graduation Parades
Road to be closed:
- Worcester Street, between Montreal Street and Cambridge Terrace
Periods of Closures:
- From 9.20am to 9.50am and from 1.20pm to 1.50pm Friday, 23 September 2022
These closures are to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. These closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles, and vehicles directly involved with the event.
No resident access will be available during the period of these closures.
