Catch the action at Christchurch's Fanzone

Thinking of heading to the Christchurch Fanzone to watch the Crusaders take on the British & Irish Lions on Saturday night?

Show your colours on Saturday night at the Fanzone.

You will find travel advice on the Transport for Christchurch website and information on the best places to park on the Council’s website.

The Fanzone, which is being set up in Poplar St, between Lichfield and Tuam streets, will be open from 5pm and will have live entertainment, face-painting and other activities for the children. There will also be food vendors on site and two big screens beaming live coverage of the big match.

Space within the Fanzone will be limited so you will need to get there early to secure the best spots for viewing the big screens when the game kicks-off at 7.30pm.

No deck chairs or other large items will be allowed into the Fanzone. Alcohol will also not be allowed in but surrounding hospitality outlets will be open for those wanting to have drink before or after the game.
