This report is designed to capture and collate key datasets from a range of organisations, including both social and economic indicators. The report is focused on Ōtautahi Christchurch, however, where information is available, data for Canterbury and New Zealand is displayed.
Key indicators include:
- Canterbury Economic Activity Index
- Unemployment rate
- Workforce participation rate
- Rate of people aged 15 to 25 years who are not in employment, education or training
- The unemployment rate for Cantabrians, particularly Māori and Pacific Peoples.
