Transwaste appeal

The Transwaste appeal was lodged 16 May 2003 and appealed some of the conditions attached to the granting of resource consents for the regional landfill at Kate Valley in North Canterbury. The appeal was lodged with the Environment Court on the 16th of May.

In April, the panel of four independent Commissioners granted resource consents for the landfill and attached 324 conditions. Transwaste Canterbury Ltd is appealing 13 of the conditions.
