The scope of work includes the construction of sections of kerb and channel and associated road shoulder, minor drainage works, paths, vehicle crossings, grass berms, traffic island alterations, carriageway milling, AC and chip seal surfacing after pre levelling, surface grooving, road marking and signage, traffic and environmental management.
There are two sections of work:
- Part 1 of the works involves re-construction of the kerb and channel on the north side of New Brighton Road between the Anzac Drive roundabout and Barkers Lane.
- Part 2 of the works involves repairs to New Brighton Road between Wattle Drive and Palmers Road.
Works will be carried out on both day and night shifts as dictated by traffic management and worker safety requirements.
Some works require staging to allow curing between different product applications so there will be intervals between carriageway levelling, final sealing and cycleway green surfacing.
Working hours 7:00am to 18:00pm - 18:00pm to 7:00am. Night work will vary with different activities.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
