Work will start Monday 4th November 2019 to Friday 6th December 2019. Work is expected to take only 2 weeks within this period, the Contractor will advise on the exact start and finish date. |

The timber-lined section of Frees Creek, approx. 22.5m long section, located between 62 and 66 Sherborne Street has reached the end of its useful life. As a result, Christchurch City Council appointed a Contractor (City Care Ltd) to renew the timber-lined drain.
The Contractor will perform the renewal works from 62 and 66 Sherborne St properties as agreed with the property owners. During the works, there may be potential access impact to the garages and driveways due to the location of the existing drain. The Contractor will advise the residents on any such restrictions ahead of the works.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
