Annex Road - Nor’ West Arc cycleway

What

We are building a cycleway on Annex Road.

Where

Annex Road from the junction of Wigram Road to the end of the cul-de-sac near Christchurch Southern Motorway

When

10 January 2022 to 11 February 2022 (weather/site condition dependent).

Contact

The contractor is Blakely Construction. Phone Stuart Lyons on 027 642 2826 or email slyons@blakely.co.nz

Details

The project involves the construction of a 120m shared path on the south west side of Annex Road which will connect to the Little River Link and the recently completed section of Nor’West Arc cycleways. The project will create new parking spaces on the same side of the road.

Permission has been received from the Department of Conservation to continue works. The work will extend the shared path built in February 2021 through to the end of the cul-de-sac.

Property access may be impacted for short periods of time while works continue. We will contact property owners should any restrictions be put in place.
