Why |
The new mast will be used for communication between our infrastructure sites and enable monitoring and control of the sites from the Christchurch Waste Treatment Plant Network Operations Control Room. Initial sites connected to the system are for management of stormwater storage facilities in the Upper Heathcote catchment. |

Details
- Work will be undertaken Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm (weather/site condition dependent). If work is required on a Saturday to ensure we meet the completion date, it will be between 7:30am to 4pm.
- There are no road or footpath closures expected except temporarily during deliveries to the site.
- There will be an increase in vehicle movements into the site, such as delivery vehicles and construction equipment.
- There will be some noise during tree removal and mast foundation work but this should only be for about one to two weeks.
- Signage about the work will be placed on the driveway to the reservoir.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
