Details
- We need to make improvements to the existing drainage pipes and while the closure is in place, our Nor’West Arc Cycleway team will be resurfacing the area leading into the intersection as part of the Ilam/Middleton/Riccarton intersection upgrade. This work will
require Middleton Road to be closed outside of peak times. - Middleton Road will be open during peak hour traffic flow (7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm) to reduce traffic impacts.
- There will be no access in or out from Riccarton Road during these times, and Middleton Road will be reopened daily at the end of each shift. Auburn Ave and Field Terrace will both be open to two way traffic.
- Please follow the detour signs. Our friendly staff on site can also assist with any queries. A 30kph speed limit will be in place so we can keep our workers safe.
- We know this work is disruptive so we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
