Details
Traffic:
- Please follow the directions provided by the onsite traffic management team.
- Journey times may be slightly longer than normal, during these nights
Noise and Parking:
- Street side parking may be temporarily unavailable throughout the duration of the works to allow for safe conveyance of vehicles around the work site.
- There will be noise disturbance during the works but this will be kept to a minimum.
Night Shift Works:
- It is anticipated on selected nights that Fitzgerald Avenue & Hereford Street will be will be restricted to 1 lane in each direction to provide safe working conditions.
- On selected nights manual stop/go operations will be in place.
Timing and Duration:
- All work will be undertaken on back to back night shifts.
- The signals upgrade works is expected to take 4 weeks to complete
- Please advise us if you have specific property access requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries or planned works.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
