Election of a member of the Riccarton-Wigram Community Board
Following the recent passing of Riccarton-Wigram Community Board member Ishwar Ganda Q.S.O, a by-election will be held on Friday 22 June 2012 for the vacant position.
Nominations for the position of Community Board member for the Riccarton-Wigram Ward are now open and they will close at 12 noon on Thursday 3 May 2012. Nomination form [PDF 229KB] and a Candidate Information Booklet [PDF 1.1MB] can be downloaded here, copies are also available from the Upper Riccarton Library, 71 Main South Road and at Ground Floor Reception Civic Office, 53 Hereford Street.
The preliminary electoral roll for Riccarton-Wigram is now open for people to check if they are enrolled to vote. The roll will close on Thursday 3 May 2012.
Voting papers will be sent to enrolled Riccarton-Wigram residents from Wednesday 30 May to Monday 4 June 2012. Voting closes 12 noon on Friday 22 June 2012.

Burwood-Pegasus by-election 2012 final result
Final results for the Burwood-Pegasus by-election show Peter Beck has been elected to represent the Burwood-Pegasus Ward as a Ward Councillor.
Councillor Beck was sworn in at the Council Meeting on 23 February 2012.
