Over the past two and half years, the Council has made significant inroads in enhancing the essential services needed to keep the city running, at the same time as pushing ahead with some major projects for the benefit of Christchurch. These include:
Gaining carbon credits from the landfill gas project
Developing the Central City South Master Plan
Hosting the Ellerslie International Flower Show
Progressing the new Civic building
Securing the World Buskers Festival
