Council have staff that can assist members of the public with navigating Council’s 2024-2034 Draft Long Term Plan as well as making submissions. There will be somebody available at Rārākau: Riccarton Centre on Monday 8 April through to Friday 12 April between 12 and 1pm and 4 and 5pm.

Matatiki Hornby Centre, Christchurch's newest pool and library complex is set to open for use from 3pm, Friday 19 April!

Matatiki Hornby Centre, in Kyle Park, will be officially opened by Mayor Phil Mauger at a formal ceremony starting at 1pm. The formalities will be followed by a full day of community activities and celebrations on Saturday 20 April.

Hornby's brand new pool, library and service centre complex is officially open on Friday 19 April from 3pm.

Join us by celebrating the opening of Matatiki Hornby Centre at our fun-filled community day. Jump, rush, bash your way through the inflatable obstacle course in the pool, or chill out in the library checking out the huge array of books on offer.

The community day is free, but if you're swimming, standard pool entry fees apply.
