How do I register my dog?
You may register your dog at any Council service centre or by mailing in a registration form with your payment.
You may like to print off a form from the link below and send it in with your payment to P.O. Box 24-284, Linwood.
If unsure of the fee payable or any other details you may call the Councils customer centre on the number below and a customer service representative will be able to help you.
Modes of payment are by mailing a cheque, or at service centres, cash cheque, Eftpos and credit card are all acceptable.
Dogs must by law be registered by 1 July each year or by the age of 3 months whichever is the later. Increased fees may apply after this date and penalty fees are imposed after 31 July.
The Council customarily sends a reminder to all known dog owners at their last recorded address in June each year, however dog owners should note that it is their responsibility to register by due date whether or not they receive a reminder.
If for any reason you do not receive the reminder form or you acquire a new dog during the year you can print a form by following the link below or asking the customer services representative to send you one.
