Can I book a site visit to the composting plant?
Schools (Christchurch or out of Christchurch, like Rangiora) can visit as part of a tour of Christchurch waste facilities;
The number of people for a tour ranges from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 30. The ideal group size is 20.
Tours need to be booked in advance.
There is no cost to Christchurch or out of Christchurch (eg Rangiora) school parties.
To make a booking or for further information call the Council Booking Line.
Tours by National and International parties need to contact Community Relations to discuss their bookings and fees.
Note Tours for community and pre-school groups currently unavailable due to modifications at the site.
