Can I book a site visit to the composting plant?

Schools (Christchurch or out of Christchurch, like Rangiora) can visit as part of a tour of Christchurch waste facilities;

  • The number of people for a tour ranges from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 30. The ideal group size is 20.
  • Tours need to be booked in advance.
  • There is no cost to Christchurch or out of Christchurch (eg Rangiora) school parties.
  • To make a booking or for further information call the Council Booking Line.
  • Tours by National and International parties need to contact Community Relations to discuss their bookings and fees.
    Note Tours for community and pre-school groups currently unavailable due to modifications at the site.
