What are biosolids?

Biosolids are nutrient rich organic material produced by treating wastewater solids. After processing and treatment, they can be beneficially recycled as a fertilizer and soil conditioner.

Biosolids have been used extensively at the Bromley Farm and at the Bexley Landfill, and some years ago on Cuthberts Green and Rangers Park. They have also been trialed at Chaneys Forest and Eyrewell Forest in 1991/92.
