Are all cabbage trees (cordyline australis) protected?

No, not all cabbage trees are protected. However specific cabbage trees may be on the notable or heritage tree list in the City Plan. Contact the Council's Customer Centre who will be able to assist.

Note: Cabbage trees may also be protected as a condition of land subdivision approval and as a condition of Resource Consent.
