Where can flax (harakeke) be harvested for weaving?

There are several sites around the City where flax can be harvested for weaving. You will need to contact the Maori Arts Advisor who can advise you on an appropriate site and also the protocol around harvesting.

A brochure on flax is available from all Christchurch Libraries and Service Centres.
