Who carrys out the maintenance in cemeteries?
All maintenance of cemeteries is the responsibility of the Council, except for headstones which are the responsibility of the plot owner. If you have a request for maintenance please contact the Council's Customer Centre who will forward your request for investigation and action.
Maintenance includes mowing, weed control, rubbish removal, etc.
Grass seeding is carried out in Spring and Autumn.
