Why is there a truck drilling in Hagley Park/on the side of the road in Harper Ave/Riccarton Ave?
McMillan Drilling are carrying out geotechnical (soil) investigation work for the Council. The investigation work will include pushing a probe into the ground and drilling boreholes at several locations. This work is planned to begin on Friday 4 July and be completed by Friday 18 July 2008. The information from this will be used to help the Council design new sewers in the area.
