Is there a disabled swing at the Botanic Gardens Playground?
Yes there is a disabled swing at the Botanic Gardens Playground, suitable for wheelchairs child to adult (see photo below). A key is required which is available from Botanic Gardens Information Centre and Botanic Gardens Tea Kiosk at no charge.
The swing cannot be booked. Regular users can apply in writing to the Botanic Gardens Information Centre for a key.
A disabled 'liberty' swing is also now installed in Spencer Park. The key to this swing can be obtained from the Spencer Park Campground Shop.
