What rowing facilities are there in Christchurch?

The Christchurch Public Library has an online database called 'CINCH'. You can access it by clicking on the below link titled 'Christchurch public library homepage'. When you get to the libraries web page there is a heading at the top of the page in light grey text titled 'CINCH'. CINCH can be used search for club, recreation, group, association etc in Christchurch. For example a simple search on 'rowing' will bring up results on rowing clubs and activities.

Indoor rowing

  • QEII Canoe Sessions (click on the link below for the QEII homepage)
    Session times are on a Monday and Thursday from 9.00pm - 10.00pm. You will need to wash your own canoes. Please pay at reception on arrival and obtain a receipt. A lifeguard will open a door near the dive well to let the boats in. Canoe hire is $3.00, plus pool admission, or normal pool admission if you bring your own canoe.
