Why has my building consent been suspended.

It is not unusual for additional or amended information to be requested to confirm compliance with the Building Code. A request for information is sent to the applicant by either telephone, fax, mail or email by the officer responsible for the processing of that part of the consent. The suspension will be lifted once a satisfactory answer has been received. Please telephone the number below if you would like another copy of the request to be sent to you.

The applicant may not be the owner, but an agent authorised by the owner as the first point of contact as completed on the application form. The council will only deal directly with the first point of contact unless specially requested to do otherwise.
