Can I Arrange to meet a Building Consent Officer?
Civic, Sockburn, Linwood and Lyttelton Service Centres have Building Consent Officers who combine vetting of Building Consent Applications with processing of the same.
If you wish to lodge an application for Building Consent you are recommended to go to the Service Centre closest to the property although any of these four Service Centres will vet the application.
Building Consent Officers are available for general building enquiries.
If you wish, you may phone a Service Centre to establish if an appointment is necessary. Phone our Customer Centre first, to ensure you get through to the correct Service Centre.
