Where do I direct my complaint about Building or Planning?
The Inspections Team will investigate building work that has a current Building Consent i.e. has not had a Code Compliance Certificate issued.
The Enforcement Team investigates work undertaken without a Resource Consent where one was required, as specified by the Resource Management Act 1991. They also investigate complaints of work being undertaken without a Building Consent when one is required.
