Can I pay for my consent with a credit card?
Payments for Building, Resource and Subdivision Consents can be made by cheque, cash, EFTPOS, or Credit Card at Service Centres.
There are exceptions to this: Building Consents and Resource Consents, including Subdivision applications lodged at a "B" Service Centre (i. e. Fendalton, Papanui, Shirley, Beckenham, Little River) are required to be accompanied by a cheque as the application has to be vetted before an invoice can be created.
N. B. Akaroa Service Centre is a "B" Service Centre but because of its remoteness can receipt Building Consents.
