Kids Market

Once a year this very popular event takes place in cathedral Square as part of TV 2 KidsFest, which takes place during the winter school holidays in June/July.

The ‘Kids Market” is a time for budding entrepreneurs to gather up their no longer cherished books, toys and games or to make cakes, sweets or crafts and become a stallholder for the day.

The Kids Market is part of TV2KidsFest, which takes place during the first week of July.

It is open to all kids up to the age of twelve and proceeds from the $2.00 stallholder fee go to the ‘Child Cancer’ campaign.
