Coast Care

Coast Care is a coastal management programme run by the Christchurch City Council to look after the city’s coastal area from the Waimakariri River Mouth to Godley Head. Council staff from the Parks and Waterways Unit work with community user groups and Coast Care groups to help manage and protect the coast and carryout ecological and restoration enhancement projects.
