Temporary road closures for Gebbies Pass Hill Climb and Bunnings Cup NRC Rugby 2021

The Council has approved the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

Gebbies Pass Hill Climb

Road to be closed:

  • Summit Road, between Gebbies Pass Road and Worsleys Road 

Period of closure:

  • From 9am to 6pm Sunday, 22 August 2021


Bunnings Cup NPC Rugby 2021

Road to be closed:

  • Jack Hinton Drive, between Whiteleigh Avenue and Twigger Street

Periods of closure:

  • From 5.05pm to 9.35pm Saturday, 14 August 2021
  • From 12.05pm to 4.35pm Saturday, 21 August 2021
  • From 2.35pm to 7.05pm Saturday, 4 September 2021
  • From 12.05pm to 4.35pm Sunday, 12 September 2021
  • From 5.05pm to 9.35pm Friday, 1 October 2021

Roads to be closed:

  • Twigger Street, between Jack Hinton Drive and Lincoln Road

Periods of closure:

  • From 5.35pm to 7.05pm and from 8.35pm to 9.35pm Saturday, 14 August 2021
  • From 12.35pm to 2.05pm and from 3.35pm to 4.35pm Saturday, 21 August 2021
  • From 3.05pm to 4.35pm and from 6.05pm to 7.05pm Saturday, 4 September 2021
  • From 12.35pm to 2.05pm and from 3.35pm to 4.35pm Sunday, 12 September 2021
  • From 5.35pm to 7.05pm and from 8.35pm to 9.35pm Friday, 1 October 2021

 Semifinals to be held on either Friday 15 October or Saturday 16 October and the Finals are to be held on Saturday 23 October 2021, dates and times will be advertised at a later date.


These closures are to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. These closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles, and vehicles directly involved with the event.

No resident access will be available during the period of these closures.
