Council is considering granting qualifying commercial operators licences for the use of certain Reserve Act administered land for the take off of paragliders.
Public notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 54(2) and 119 of the Reserves Act 1977 that the Christchurch City Council proposes to grant a licence to Christchurch Paragliding Ltd, Parapro Ltd and Cloudbase Paragliding NZ Ltd to launch and land paragliders from 3 locations in Scarborough Hill Reserve, 320 Summit Rd (Title CB43A/1050). This is in addition to other reserve areas included in a previous public notice relating to the same activity and parties.
