Notice of Extraordinary Meeting 30 April 2020 Resolutions
An Extraordinary meeting of the Christchurch City Council was held on Thursday 7 May at 10am. In accordance with Section 51A of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, a summary of resolutions from the open part of the meeting is below:
The Council received a deputation from Keep Our Assets Canterbury regarding public excluded item 6. Red Bus Limited.
Community Board Delegations
The Council resolved to reinstate all delegations to Community Boards that were revoked on 24 March 2020. The Council’s decision included delegation of authority to the Head of Community Support, Governance and Partnerships Unit jointly with each Community Board Chairperson to ensure all meetings and decision making processes comply with COVID-19 and legislative requirements. Community Boards will be asked to prioritise work and decision making to the capacity of the organisation to deliver.
