The EduLinks school e-newsletter is mainly to inform you about our education programmes – the majority of which are free of charge to schools.
We have been working to update our programmes to align with the principles and values of the New Zealand Curriculum, particularly with matters relating to community participation, ecological sustainability and citizenship. Our aim is to help Christchurch schools reach their educational goals by offering unique learning experiences in our local city environment.
The Council offers education programmes in many parks and Council facilities including the libraries and learning centres, Art Gallery, waste and water treatment facilities, Botanic Gardens and waterways for students of all ages.
