Commercial water connections and fire service connections require some planning before the application can be processed.

After assessing your request, an estimate of costs for the installation of the connection on the basis of material required and labour will be made. Commercial water connections will require adequate backflow protection to protect the public water supply from contamination.
Once the estimated fee for the water connection installation is paid the process will commence.
The time frame of the installation process is peculiar to each connection and is subject to factors like the location of the water main, traffic management and the size of connection.
