Earthquake Update (as at 24 April 2011)
Until further notice, boil or treat all water from wells and tankers before drinking, brushing teeth or using to prepare food (including baby formula). Bringing water to the boil will kill bugs. Water needs to be boiled even if you can smell or taste chlorine. If you cannot boil water, treat it by adding 1 teaspoon of household bleach per 10 litres of water and leave for 30 minutes.
