Ground allocations
The Council allocates its grounds for seasonal use to the parent bodies of codes which are fostering and catering for that particular code within Christchurch.
Allocations are made seasonally. Applications from parent bodies for facilities are to be made at least eight weeks before the start of each season. A meeting will be held with representatives of each code before the start of the season to discuss clashes and hand over issues with the codes concerned.
It is Council policy that all bookings of sports grounds for regular sporting competition (winter and summer) are to be taken annually through the respective sports association only. If you want to make a booking please call (03) 941 8999 .

From time to time it is necessary to close a sports ground. If a ground is closed, it must not be played on. You will need to contact your sports association to find out if the event has been relocated.
