At Pioneer we provide other services including the Pioneer Early Learning Centre, Café, Sportsmed Medical Centre, Swim shop, Canterbury Volleyball, and stadium court hire and meeting room hire.
Pioneer offers a full range of facilities, recreation programmes and fitness classes for a fun active way to get healthy. Swimsmart aquatic programmes including learn to swim classes, swim squads and synchronized swimming are also held at Pioneer. Please see the fees and charges for costs on memberships and hire.
We are committed to providing public pool access at all times. This means that throughout our opening hours, some lanes will always be made available to the public in our 25m lap pool.

Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre is located at 75 Lyttelton Street, Spreydon, next to Centennial Park.
Public transport
The Orbiter Bus stops right outside, on Lyttelton street.
Parking
There are 256 parking spaces available (including disability and 10 minute).
Bicycles
Cycle stands are available right outside the entrance.
