River and stream profiles

River profiles show you the types of river and stream conditions, determined by their water flow, and the different zones or areas that form the bank of the river or stream.

The diagrams allow you to see the different zones you may be working on when you are planting.

For more information see the Streamside planting guide July 2005 [PDF 888KB]
