Manchester Street car park

Corner of Gloucester and Manchester Streets, located between Armagh Street and Gloucester Street on the East side. This car park is currently closed as it is within the red zone.

Motorists may approach from either direction. Exit from the car park is onto Gloucester Street.

Clearance height:

  • 2.1 metres.

Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 6.15pm
  • Friday 7.30am - 11.45pm
  • Saturday 9am - 11.45 pm (free parking)
  • Sunday 9am - 5.45 pm (free parking).

  • casual - 167
  • reserved - 190
  • mobility - 2
  • floaters - variable.

Note: floating spaces are not a designated number but are a guaranteed space. Customer can park anywhere in a certain covered area.

Charges:

  • Casual - 1st hour free, $1.30 per half hour or part thereof thereafter.
  • Daily rate - $12 per day for maximum of 10 hours.
  • Payment by EFTPOS and credit card is available.
  • There is no transaction fee when paying by credit card.
  • Reserved uncovered - $105 per month. Covered - $147 per month.
  • Floaters - $126 per month.
  • All prices include GST.

Other info:

Bike lock-up available, cyclist provides lock. Bike lock-up is free but a token from the payment office is required for its use. Motor scooters need to be parked in an area that doesn't take up a car park and the cost is half the price of car admission.

Note: Manchester Street car park toilets will be closed at 3.30pm Monday - Friday and all weekend until further notice.
