Entertaining people on the streets of Christchurch for the last 18 years, the World Buskers Festival (WBF) has grown from strength to strength, and this year will culminate in the heart of Christchurch - Hagley Park. It is now the largest street performance festival in Australasia, heralded by many as 'one of the best' street performance festivals in the world.
The WBF provides Christchurch audiences with 10 days and 11 nights of organised pandemonium, non-stop chaos and uncontrollable laughter – transforming the central city into a hub of fun, frantic and fantastic activity, entertainment and excitement.
With over 550 circus, street and comedy shows, performed by more than 50 national and international artists, the World Buskers Festival will present audiences with over 500 hours of world-class entertainment, in a series of free-to-attend events. Check out more at World Buskers Festival
