Halls administered by the Council

Lyttelton Recreation Centre
Situated in Winchester Street, Lyttelton, the complex contains a large sports gym, a hall, and meeting rooms - all are available for functions, activities, meetings, or exhibition hire. The gym has courts marked out for badminton, volleyball and basketball and the two squash courts are available to the public 24 hours via a key system. Contact the Recreation Centre for a key.

All facilities are available for hire.

Gaiety hall, Akaroa
Situated in Rue Jolie, Akaroa, the Gaiety Hall contains a main hall and meeting room and full kitchen facilities. Car parking is provided on the adjacent section. The hall is available for hire. Phone Akaroa Service Centre on (03) 941 8999 for inquiries and bookings.

Akaroa sports complex
Situated at the Recreation Ground in Akaroa, the Sports Complex has a meeting area, full kitchen facilities and shower and changing rooms for sports teams. Car parking is available immediately adjacent to the building. The Sports Complex is available to hire for small private functions, meetings and sports teams use.
