Community funding
The Christchurch City Council has a proud history of supporting the Christchurch communities with a number of initiatives, including grant funding.
The Council signalled in the 2006–2016 Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP) that its community grants schemes play a key role in its strategic direction of building strong communities. One of the key drivers for this funding is the Strengthening Communities Strategy launched in September 2006.
