Prepare your information
If you haven’t already viewed them, you will need to read our information sheets regarding funding priorities and outcomes and eligibility for each scheme. Review any how to guides and check the criteria for the funding you are applying for.
You may also wish to download a hard copy version of the scheme application form and work through this before you submit your online application.
Please refer to the maps of the Christchurch City Council ward areas for information on which community area you represent.
Complete your online form
This web-based application form cannot be saved during the process, so you will need to complete the entire application form in one sitting.
You will need to prepare all the necessary information and answers before you begin. You might like to read through the form to make sure that you can answer all of the questions before you start. Alternatively you can download a copy of the application form to work through before you begin the online process.
Note: If you are applying online, you do not need to supply a hard copy of your application as well.
Record your application submission
For your own records, please print a copy of the application before you press submit. Once you have submitted the application it will no longer be available for you to view.
To print
PC users - press Ctrl + P
MAC users - press Command + P
After you submit your application, you will receive an email to acknowledge receipt of your application, which will include a copy of the information you submitted.
Submit your supporting documents online
Within a few days of applying online, you will receive access to a self-service portal which will enable you to upload any supporting documents that may be required.
If you do not have electronic versions of these, hard copies can still be sent in once requested.
