Community funding

The Christchurch City Council has a proud history of supporting the Christchurch community with a number of initiatives, including grant funding.

Some people are currently experiencing an issue when they click the "Submit" button at the end of the online application. If you receive an email back with a copy of your application it has submitted fine (this may go to your Junk).

When you email through your application can you please also email through what Internet Browser (e.g Internet Explorer, Firefox) and Operating System (e.g Windows 7, XP) you are currently using to help us try and find a solution.

The Council signalled in the 2006–2016 Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP) that its community grants schemes play a key role in its strategic direction of building strong communities. One of the key drivers for this funding is the Strengthening Communities Strategy.
