Food poisoning and food/waterborne infectious diseases

The following microbiological data sheets have been prepared for the New Zealand Food Safety Authority by the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Limited (ESR).

They include: Aeromonas, Arcobacter spp, Bacillus cereus, Campylobacter, Clostridium botulinum, Clostridium perfringens, Cronobacter spp, Cryptosporidium parvum, Enteric viruses, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Escherichia coli : non-O157 shiga toxin-producing (STEC), Giardia intestinalis, Hepatitis A virus, Listeria monocytogenes, Mycobacterium bovis, Norovirus, Salmonella Typhi, Salmonellae : Non-typhoid, Scombroid (histamine) poisoning, Shigella, Staphylococcus aureus, Toxoplasma gondii, Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio vulnificus, Yersinia enterocolitica.
