Stock Control
Objective
To operate and maintain Shelter facilities for the impoundment of Stock in accordance with the
Impounding Act 1955 and provide a service for seizure, impoundment and disposal of trespassing and wandering stock
within district administered by the Christchurch City Council.

Pound Fees
Fees payable for release of stock will include all costs incurred by the Council in the impound of the stock (including mileage and travel costs, hire of equipment eg. trailers if appropriate) and also the appropriate pound fees as detailed below.
