Neutering

Have your dog neutered and prevent thousands of homeless dogs being euthanased every year.

Neutering pushes sex and fighting down the list of priorities allowing other activities to become more important such as hunting, tracking, obedience, retrieving or just having fun. Statistics have shown that neutered animals are less susceptible to disease, live longer and fit into our society a lot better.

The nature of the dog does not change at all infact it can improve the bonding between dog and owner.

Dogs may have a tendancy to put weight on but as long as you are aware of this you can take steps to prevent it (exercise or reducing food intake etc).

Bitches

  • Firstly lets dispel the myth that a bitch should have a litter of pups before being spayed that's rubbish, however, it is preferable that a bitch has one season before being neutered, but remember, the longer bitches are left entire the more susceptible they become to contracting urinary infections or mammary cancer which can prove fatal if not operated on.
  • You don't have to worry about keeping her locked up for three weeks and not being able to exercise her every six months or so.
  • Stops the problems of staining around the house.
  • No further problems of wandering males hanging around when she is in season.
  • Stops her trying to escape to find a mate.

Dogs

  • Helps stop dogs lifting their leg and marking their territory.
  • Reduces wandering.
  • Can diminish aggressive behaviour.
  • Reduces dog fights
