Used or preloved goods

"One mans trash is another mans treasure".

Your household A-Z guide for reuse and recyclingIf you are wondering what to do with your used or preloved goodies, Your household A-Z guide for reuse and recycling (PDF, 700KB, free PDF reader) will give you some ideas.

One suggestion is to sort them to one side a take a trip to a Recycling Centre. If your goods are still working and the staff think they can be resold, they are sent on the way to a new home.

The Recycling Centres are run by Terra Nova and are sited at all three Refuse Stations. There is no charge to drop things off here, though the staff do have the right to turn away goods. The purpose of the recycling centre is to make the best use of resources and reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill.
