Protocol for Surface Water Management

What is it?

The Planning and Consents Protocol for Surface Water Management (the Protocol) has been developed by the Christchurch City Council (CCC) and Environment Canterbury (ECan) to help address issues relating to the management of surface waterways.

The Protocol includes principles and agreed practices for land use planning and integrated catchment management that will direct the way the two councils work together.
