Port Hills Recreation Strategy

The Port Hills are Christchurch and surrounds most prominant landscape asset. They are also a valued recreation resourse, offering views, exercise, peace and solitude. The varied terrain creates opportunities for a wide range of activities, with walking and mountain biking the most popular. This strategy seeks to identify a common vision for the recreation assets on the hills and guide their future development.
